Small Figure Works On Paper

These drawings explore the form of the figure against the implied, surrounding cityscape. In these small works, quick energetic pen strokes, free flowing ink wash and textural, transfer techniques are juxtaposed with the structure of the architectural elements within the environment, in order to create a more obscure and unexpected visual setting.

The two elements the traveler first captures in the big city are extra human architecture and furious rhythm. Geometry and anguish.
